Spaceships launch in the Northern Territory

Campervan hire company Spaceships will open for business in the Northern Territory as of July.

Spaceships Australia announced that from July 1, 2011, it will be possible to pick up or return a vehicle in Darwin and Alice Springs.

A spokesman said: “It actually feels like a homecoming. The directors behind Spaceships Australia have red dust in their veins, and as a region, the NT is what they know best and learnt first. As of July 1st 2011 it will be possible to pick up or return your vehicle to Darwin or Alice Springs in Australia’s ‘fair dinkum, true blue, throw a shrimp on your Spaceship two-burner cooker’ Northern Territory.

“It may be a new destination for Spaceships but with a combined knowledge of more than 60 years working in the region, the lads are more than familiar with what there is to see and do in this vast and rugged section of Australia.”

    Dear Neil Geddes,

It is great to see the Spaceship empire growing, I do have one concern. If I take my orange Spaceship to the outback and walk away from it, how the hell will I find it again? Orange car in orange dirt it may be like wonder woman’s plane?.

Good luck over there from a very orange-blooded Stumpy.
