Airlines slam travel insurers over swine flu

Travel insurers are taking steps to reduce their exposure to swine flu in a move which has brought condemnation from airlines.

Adelaidenow.com.au reports leading travel insurers are refusing to pay medical costs and other travel expenses to travellers who develop the virus overseas.

Both Jetstar and Qantas have condemned the move as unjustified and damaging to the international travel industry.
